Software Engineer

Designs, develops, and tests software using formal, integrated software development
environments such as Visual Studio, JDeveloper, and/or Eclipse. Reviews requirements and
ensures that target software is adequate to meet project performance goals. Performs multiple
tasks and operates in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities. Demonstrates
ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff including peers or team members, management
and customers. Exercises a solid, demonstrable technical background in software engineering,
development, and test. The successful candidate will be a self-starter which requires minimal
supervision.

Requirements:
Engineering degree
Minimum 3 years of Software Development experience
Unix/Linux (Solaris) and/or Windows operating system experience
Proficiency in C++, C#, and/or Java programming
Familiarity with threads, concurrency, and hardware interrupts.
High level of interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team
members
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Desired Skills:
Proficiency in LabVIEW.
Working experience with Subversion, git, or equivalent.
Familiarity with developing software which communicates with COTS and custom data acquisition
hardware.
HWIL integration experience.
Subject must be able to obtain a US government clearance and must be a U.S. Citizen.
