Browser Guidelines for Accessibility

Internet Explorer:

In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, Accessibility, then check “Ignore colors specified on Web pages” and “Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages” and then click ok.

Mozilla Firefox:

Click Tools in the menu bar. (Press the Alt key to make the menu bar visible if it is not.) Select Options. With the Options window open click Content at the top. Within the Content section you can specify the default font size and type. In addition, you can click the Advanced button and get more settings including resolution and minimum font size. If you click the Color button Firefox allows you to change the color of text and the background. In Mozilla Firefox, select View, Zoom, and then Zoom In or Zoom Out.

Safari:

From the Safari menu bar, click preferences. Select the Security tab and clear (uncheck) the Block pop-up windows. Close Safari, under the apple in the upper left corner open the System Preferences. Click the General icon then set the show scroll bars option to Always. Close General Preferences and then close System Preferences

Google Chrome:

In the menu bar select Tools. If the menu bar is not visible, press the Alt key to make it visible. Within the Internet Options window, under the General Tab, select the Fonts button at the bottom. Within this area you can adjust the default font. Additional font options can be found under the Accessibility button including the option to ignore colors and font sizes. This will allow you to specify your own styles.
