July 2, 2021 – The IronMountain Solutions (IMS) Employee Peaks Fund contributors are pleased to announce that they have awarded $55,000 to 13 local non-profit organizations. Contributors have now given nearly $245,000 back to the community since the Employee Peaks Fund was established in 2018. “I’m encouraged by the generosity displayed through the contributions of our employees. I look forward to seeing how these funds will benefit our community,” says IMS President & CEO Hank Isenberg. Award recipients received their grants from Employee Peaks Fund Contributors at a Grantee Reception held at IMS’ corporate office.

The following 501(c)3 non-profit organizations received grants from the IMS Employee Peaks Fund for the first grant period of 2021:

AFAPA-Grandparents as Parents, Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama, CASA, Friends of Florence Lauderdale Co. Animal Services, Harris Home for Children, Kids to Love, National Children’s Advocacy Center, New Hope Children’s Clinic, Next Step Farms, North Alabama Search Dog Association, Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen, Still Serving Veterans, Village of Promise

Each non-profit awarded fits into one of the following quality of life priorities: Basic Needs, Health and Wellness, Environment, Neighborhoods and Community, Lifestyle, Emergency Relief, Economy, and Education.

The IMS Employee Peaks Fund is entirely employee organized comprising of 11 Board of Directors with 82% participation from IMS employees. All contributors are given the opportunity to vote on which non-profit applicants receive grants during each grant cycle. Sharon Valavicius, current Chair on the 2020-2021 Employee Peaks Fund Board of Directors states “I am proud to serve as the chair and proud of the impact we are able to make. I have no doubt the grant recipients will put this money to use in making our community even stronger in the year to come.
